Les Yeux plus Gros que le Ventre (2020)

The struggle of a bulimic young woman eating herself out of house and home. Alexia is suffering from bulimia. As she wanders through her life, the signs of her disease are clear but yet nobody notices. As she introspects on her behavior and never-ending hunger, her frustration and silence grow more and more intense- Only able to yell at herself and/or eat, her surroundings seem to be blind and deaf to her condition. In a final act of binge-eating and purging, she finally spits out what she has on her chest and literally throws up her heart which she places in a Tupperware in the refrigerator.
