Life Before Life (2020)

Polish immigrants, Ella and Bogdan, live together in the UK with their daughter Anna. Their marriage is on the rocks but they stay together for lack of options. Ella is depressed but remains a devoted wife while Bogdan merely exists. Their daughter, Anna, is trying to make a go of their new life and to care for her parents. This inescapable situation constantly descends into endless arguments until one day Anna leaves the front door open and trouble ensues.
