Artist in Residence (2020)

Inspired by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist that took place on March 18, 1990. An overlooked genius from South Boston, Sofia, orchestrates the most infamous art heist of all time. Sofia is forced to discover whether or not her plan was successful by watching back a VHS recording of Boston's 10 o'clock news. As the details roll in and the mistakes unfold, Sofia discerns whether her true intentions were to confront those who have disregarded her, or face the ways in which she has disregarded herself.
