This documentary reveals some of the central characters of the social revolution, not just as political protagonists, but as citizens empowered by the need to create structural change in society, that is, as actors in their own history, as part of the collective deliberation taking place in the country. The narrative explores the thinking and the actions of social actors such as mayors, representatives of teachers' colleges, medical schools, constitutional lawyers, feminist activists, high school and university students, scientists, economists, and representatives of the Mapuche people, with special emphasis on the predominant role that women play with their most valiant acts of protest against injustice, abuse and arbitrariness of a violent patriarchal social model. As we hear and see the revolt spreading throughout the country, the film shows the voices of women, particularly the bravery of high school students, developing what could be described as a new social landscape where a feminist liberation wants to redefine both production and reproduction in Chile. In parallel, the film also shows the representatives of the indigenous Mapuche nation in solidarity with the Chilean people suffering in their own flesh the brutal repression of the Chilean state. This profound empathy of the Mapuche people towards the Chilean people reflects their own experience as a nation living in a state of institutionalized repression against their communities in their territory. The brave resistance of the Mapuche people through the centuries, represented in the film by the symbol of the Mapuche flag, is at the forefront of this social revolution.
