Some families hide an insoluble family conflict, which means that the family no longer talks to each other. This also applies to the Fischermann family. Therefore, the youngest member of the family, the grandson Benjamin, decides to investigate why his family is so dysfunctional. What he finds clearly shows that the Second World War and Hitler's regime of terror still cast long shadows over an ordinary Danish family in 2019.
