Sinner's Lullaby (2020)

Set in an otherworldly Brooklyn, not quite the past and not quite the present, the mob is on it's way out. Private Investigator Charlotte Meridian is hired to spy on the last gangster standing, Johnny Marzzone, whose thought to have knocked off the other members, saving their life savings all for himself. Charlotte quickly discovers that Marzzone didn't knock off any of his pals and is only a pawn of the one who did, but cannot reveal who that is to her client, or her girlfriend Barbara. Tension and mistrust arise, as does a menacing face from Charlotte's past.
