Scat and Rap (2020)

It is the unique and unrepeatable concert conceived by Enrico Intra with the participation of Gege 'Telesforo, musical historian, television conductor singer and the young rapper Willie Peyote. The two scat styles (which in jazz means singing virtuosity without words and only with sounds coming from the mouth) and rap (which instead starts from a semi-spoken oratorio mixing lyrics and street language) come together with arrangements from big bands in a incredibly fluid way. The rap texts are all social and political. The show was held at the Piccolo Teatro Strehler in a single sold out evening.
