Madalina, 34, is a few months away from the most exciting moment of her life, her wedding day. The dress she will wear is the accessory that will give this moment its memorable aura. The movie follows her search for the perfect dress. Why green? Because, color is not important, neither for her nor for her fiancee. Madalina has been born blind. She is a happy, optimistic woman, with a great sense of humor. Teacher and therapist, her time is shared with between her work, her fiancee, and her friends. When she has time, she likes to go to the park and roller-skate. Her boyfriend, also visually impaired, rides a bike. The camera follows her all the time for a month. The film gives us a window into her daily life just as she makes the final preparations for the wedding and finds her perfect wedding dress. "The Green Wedding Dress" follows Madalina - a good person who wants to be even better. The way she manages from day to day, the way she does everything, how good her life is and how much she enjoys it - all these contrasting with the pointless compassion she inspires, the useless pity of those she meets, or the way Romanian society does not help her and refuses to recognize her real merits.
