The Rimpletons" is a light, over-dramatic suspense comedy sketch about a young married couple, and a phone call that went awry over something frivolous. A parody of the late 50's and 60's era , the speak, the cadence, the willingness to share your inner most thoughts with a stranger on the phone. The lead character, Betty, reveals to a phone salesman something her husband, Harold, doesn't know, Betty gets nervous when the phone salesman demands to speak with Harold.
