The Eighth (2019)

Taking place in a small county hospital in China the 2000s, Juan is being forced into her eighth abortion by her family, because she repeatedly doesn't get pregnant with a boy. Despite being told that the surgery could be dangerous to Juan's health, she is forced to go through with it, with her 6-year-old daughter watching.
