Neocalorrismo & Rumba'n'Roll (2018)

Jose Antonio Bejarano "Pantanito" is a rumba musician with a rock heart who, at the beginning of the 21st century, invented the term "Neocalorrismo" (neothug) revitalizing the rumba movement from the very centre of Barcelona and claiming another way of doing things through the underground, the transgression, the fusion and the freedom. This documentary revolves around him and his non gipsy vision of rumba, but it also revolves around Madrid, Vallecas and the Caño Roto sound for example and airing opinions of musicians and journalists around a genre hated and loved by equal parts.
