Inmaculada (2020)

A young family enjoy an afternoon in the local river near their home. When María is about to leave, a parasite attacks her with subtlety, she feels something but does not care. So the days go by, her belly grows and everyone thinks she is pregnant. The town healer reviews her and concludes that she is still a virgin. The villagers upon learning the news think that the son they are going to have is the new messiah. A surprise awaits them, when Maria finally relieves herself from those parasites, the hordes feel betrayed and inflamed, they think she is a kind of witch or demon.
