Despondent

Despondent focuses on a young woman and her struggles with clinical depression. She spends the entire film trying to, literally, just stand up, but she is frequently held down by the weight of her illness. When things seemingly get too hard, her loved ones, along with their comforting warm light, come in and try to make her cool, blue light go away. As we go on this journey with our main character, we get a first hand look at the battle that goes on inside one's head when they're dealing with depression, and how challenging that battle is -- even when your loved ones are there to support you.
