Picnic (2020)

Five friends meet in the forest to remember an absent peer. The camera watches them from afar, their voices remaining unheard. Only the sounds of nature are present. As it gets dark, the absence grows bigger and clearer and the fiction of the film is revealed. 'Picnic' is a slow, contemplative and mysterious short film emptied of narrative elements, expressed through silence and the off camera. A story about absence told through absence.
