Hearsay

A mystery of sorts, HEARSAY is a short film about what we know, what we think we know, and the truth behind the talk. In the film, we learn about the people we meet from the gossip and speculation of other characters. The truth lies in the seen and the unsaid. It's about how so much of life is presumption; things overheard and the human desire to narrativize what often isn't so simple. But more linearly, if functions as a pieced-together, overheard, slow-burning realization of a family's slow disintegration.
