Glenda Goes Quiet (2020)

Glenda vacations from her job at a used car dealership, driving to a remote farm to attend a week long silent retreat. The rules require that retreatants give up their cell phones and refrain from speech, eye contact, and all physical contact. Exploring the retreat's grounds, Glenda steps on a nail, but chooses to remain silent about her injury. Annoyed by her rule breaking roommate Ric and increasingly isolated in her own mind, Glenda fears that she has contracted tetanus. Fueled by worsening symptoms and hallucinations, Glenda's paranoia escalates, leading her to take matters into her own hands.
