Black Night in June (2019)

In May of 1989, Kent traveled to Beijing as an independent correspondent and photographer, reporting to NBC News, Canada's CBC News and The Observer newspaper of London. Many of the sequences he recorded on June 4, 1989 were widely telecast in the immediate aftermath of the event, and in the years since, but always in the original video format, and often degraded by multiple generations of re-recording and satellite transmission. UHD technology restored his footage, resulting in the original scenes to be seen more clearly.
