Borrego (2022)

Elly is a botanist carrying out a study of plants in a desert outside San Diego. One day she sees a plane crash and discovers a large shipment of illegal drugs. From that moment on, Elly is threatened at gunpoint by a drug dealer, Tomas, with whom she has to share disturbing hours while an assassin is on the hunt for the drugs. A survival thriller where the protagonists convey a palpable dramatic tension, heightened by the performances of Lucy Hale and Nicholas Gonzalez.
