Barkha Satarkar (2000)

Barkha Satarkar is felicitated for a contribution towards the Tamasha world but success was not easy for her.Flasback revels a young Barkha being part of renowned Tamasha troupe and people would go crazy for her performances but she had given her heart to one of the troupe member Sada.Barkha is taken care by her aunt Paro Akka who does not allow her to solo performances in front of rich men as he believes that their talent is god gifted and not to be sold.Inamdar offers to perform them in the village fair but before that the troupe reaches a neighboring village and due to heavy rain all their shows get canceled in the same time Sada has to reach to his village to be at the sight of his ailing father.After four days no shows take place due to heavy rains which leaves everyone penniless and hungry Ranga and a troupe member go to Inamdar for help who tells them he can only help them if Barkha will perform alone for him.Barkha sees everyone being hungry and penniless and decides to perform for Inamdar the night which will change her life forever,Sada to returns back but decides to part ways from the troupe forever after he finds that Barkha had performed for Inamdar.
