First Love - The Making of Freaky (1999)

This popular boy band's US debut music video for their international dance hit, "Freaky," pays homage to several decades of pop music trends from The Beatles to disco to 80s hair bands. This behind-the-scenes special documentary short gives fans a chance to see the boys having fun not to mention their excitement over their first visit to Hollywood. Especially moving is sharing their joy when they see their name, First Love, on the marquis of the famous Palladium Theater. Shot in both 35mm and video, this short also features award-winning director Chip Miller who explains the video's colorful concept. Choreographer Troy Christian shows us some tricks of the trade. This German pop group was founded by Jack White who also produced Abba during their heyday.
