Before the Beard, Before the Belly (2018)

"Before the Beard, Before the Belly" is a whimsical short film about a precocious street kid named Nic and his playful nemesis, Gilbert the elf, who is determined to snatch a loaf of bread which the boy had just stolen from a bakery. A comical game of cat and mouse ensues as they match wits in pursuit of the tasty prize, racing through the winding streets, acrobatically traversing over the rusted rooftops and perilously zip-lining above a Dickensian cityscape. As the chase reaches its climax, Nic begins to learn about who he is destined to become.
