Tipota den allaxe lae! (1987)

Bent on revisiting his birthplace, a mysterious stranger embarks on a long, memory-laden trip. In the meantime, nothing can prepare the rural, isolated community for the shocking news and imminent trouble: someone has desecrated the village's only memorial to a local WWII freedom fighter. As a result, the once peaceful inhabitants find themselves in a bind, unable to figure out who the culprit is. The local president and the village constable are helpless. And as if the destroyed statue's knotty case weren't challenging enough, exciting rumours circulate about a long-buried treasure in the area. Now, everyone wants a piece of the pie. Will the unexpected visitor's arrival restore peace, or will it further complicate matters?
