In the new short documentary, Positive Space, four female museum curators in Los Angeles discuss how they are democratizing the art world and "creating space for artists whose works are reflective of varying communities, social issues and traditionally marginalized perspectives." Positive Space features intimate conversations with Naima Keith, Vice President of Education and Public Programs at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Erin Christovale, Associate Curator at the Hammer Museum; Cameron Shaw, Deputy Director and Chief Curator of the California African American Museum; and Essence Harden, an independent curator. Through their work, these women are democratizing the art world and introducing it to a whole new audience.
