Hürriyet of 1965 - which was held between 1968 and marked the Turkey "Golden Microphone Song Contest" in 1968, first to Turkey Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) tells Batman Orchestra's story. In 1968, the premiere of the movie Black Gold, Golden Microphone, which tells the story of TPAO Batman Orchestra, which passed the Thieves, Mongols and Erkin Koray in the Golden Microphone competition, was held at the Pera Museum. The documentary, which was produced and directed by Metin Avdaç, was completed in one year. During filming, the shooting team met and interviewed people and orchestra musicians who lived in that period in Ankara, Batman, Izmir, Mersin, Istanbul and Lüleburgaz. At the gala, Necati Zincirkiran, the editor-in-chief of the Hürriyet newspaper that organized the Golden Microphone contest, and the father of the contest, made a long speech. Stating that the Golden Microphone contest has played a very important role in the establishment of Western music in our country, Zincirkiran conveyed anecdotes from the period. Turkey Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) Batman with Blue Light Orchestra's premiere, the first meeting held after many years the members of the orchestra, orchestra members also attended. In his speech, Ilhan Telli from the orchestra stated that it was an important historical turn when Asik Veysel's first polyphonic performance of Black Earth was performed in 1965. After the speeches, the screening of the movie started.
