Vera Jarach is a Mother of Plaza de Mayo, Italian, Jewish. Her grandfather, Ettore Camerino, was murdered in Auschwitz in 1943. Her daughter, Franca Jarach, was murdered by the Argentinian civilian-military dictatorship in Buenos Aires, in 1976. Vera's story appears in this documentary connected with the speech that the writer Julio Cortázar gave in Paris in 1981, "Denial of Oblivion"; and with the testimonies of 12 people who share aspects of their identity with her.
