Alikis (2019)

On the one year anniversary of his wedding, Nijat returns home without telling his wife in advance. He discovers that every time he left home, his wife would take his beloved dog to her uncle Kerim's house without telling him. This is just the first of a number of secrets to be revealed in this dry comedy that is reminiscent of the works of Aki KAURISMAKI with its parched atmosphere, unhurried manner, stilted acting and light nod to absurdism.
