The MeToo movement broke out in a big way in India in October 2018 and brought to light how deeply entrenched male entitlement was in workplaces. But why did men act this way? Man, Woman, #MeToo explores the origins of men's entitlement and the control and domination of women and their sexuality in the Indian subcontinent. Through experts, cases of violent crimes against women, and the voices of the common people, the documentary traces and reveals men's domination at home, at work, and at play. It attempts to understand the psyche of both men and women in perpetuating it. Shedding light on how patriarchy evolves through people and institutions and how it takes the many forms of violence, paternalism, misogyny, and sexism. Alongside the complexities of the present scenario, it explores the possibilities of change.
