River Take Me

Liv and Emilia wake in their idyllic home to a national tragedy, forcing these two women to confront the crumbling foundations of their own relationship and the unique trauma each bring to it. Over the course of this single day, the audience is invited into the darker realities of Liv and Emilia's relationship where jealousy, gas-lighting, mistrust and control permeate the impeccable but claustrophobic space. The film offers a moment of reflection on how and why we hurt the ones we love.
