On August 1, 1949, Lucienne Schnegg joined the Cinéma Capitole in Lausanne as a secretary. For her, it was her second birth. Now 80, she's still there as director and all-round woman. She tells us about her cinema. Today, her cinema is no longer profitable, distributors no longer give her exclusive rights to major films, and she has just 2 employees. The Little Lady of the Capitol tells her story through the magnificence of her auditorium, film extracts, photos, posters, a Christmas screening for children, meetings with the Queen of Spain, Audrey Hepburn, Roger Moore and many others. She's still here, despite the decline of her cinema, with a smile and no bitterness.
