The Entertainer

Bringing to life this extraordinary true story, The Entertainer is a dazzling historical-drama about Eddie Vitch, a Polish Immigrant turned Hollywood artist and performer. In the late 1930's, Eddie's dream of stardom is cut short after he's deported from America and returns to Europe, where he must rebuild his life and his career against the looming threat of World War 2. His notoriety soon starts to climb and Eddie becomes a fixture of the theatre scene in Paris, performing with the likes of Edith Piaf and Josephine Baker. But when Hitler's army invades, Eddie is recruited by the SS to perform across the Third Reich, and he soon becomes one of the most popular entertainers for the Nazi's. Except he's hiding a secret: Eddie Vitch is Jewish.
