Marcia

Marcia revolves around a middle aged Asian American woman named Marcia who has manic depression (that goes mainly undiagnosed her entire adult life). She's lived life up until this point checking off the boxes and at every step she's felt unfulfilled. In the beginning of the film, in addition to dealing with her mental health, she suffers a miscarriage which spurs a three day road trip along the Florida coastline to go visit her mother and to deal with the emotional trauma in her past while we see how it affects her family in the present.
