In twelve independent scenes, Russian playwright Mikhail Durnenkov depicts a world of anxiety and crisis preparedness, of pawing tears and whispered words, of people succumbing to real or perceived threats. In a motley web of stories where the feeling of insecurity runs through each syllable, Durnenkov's text serves as a projection surface for the fears and thoughts of our time.
