When a Canadian journalist, Sophie, travels to Ukraine to interview the best-selling historical novelist and professor, Bogdan, regarding his groundbreaking theories about Ukraine's prehistoric ancestors, she's taken on a journey through the Ice Age, to Trypillya, and finally ending in the Kingdom of Kyivska Rus, discovering that the stories of their pasts are linked through a seemingly lost amulet dating back all the way too the Ice Age.
