Marbleland (2021)

Marbleland is a short movie based on an interview with Mahmoud who describes his story of his flight from Syria. Forced by the crisis in his homeland and the imminent threat of the front line he left his family, followed by an escape cluttered by fear, pain and uncertainty. From Syria to Lebanon, Greece and Serbia finally to Germany. A flight, unstoppable like the impulse of a marble in motion.
