Pointe Shoes Prayers & a Pandemic (2021)

'Then after fasting and praying she laid her hands on them and sent them off.' Michelle's concern ratchets up to 11 when her dance studio is threatened with closure and she must inform her students and their parents that after months of preparation, their trip to Portugal has been canceled. How was she to know that a global pandemic would put the whole world in lockdown? Michelle promises a safer way of training, only to discover another threat to her business' survival: her students are leaving. Through prayer and fasting, she realizes that the only way to instill hope in her students and inspire them to realize their dreams for 2020 is to give them a platform to showcase their hard work. Either Michelle produces a film of hope for all dancers around the world or she hangs up her pointe shoes forever.
