LOVE... true or fake? (2020)

The film offers a classic love triangle where a man finds himself seeking divorce from his loving wife, Kavya, for he now chooses to continue his life with another woman, Jiya. The narrative moves back and forth between the past and the present to introduce us to the various aspects of its characters' lives. While Kavya is a loving, self-less wife, showing traits of sacrifice and allowing herself to be martyred on the pyre of a failed marriage, Jiya is always shown wearing bold lipstick, attire that stands out distinctly from Kavya's wardrobe, along with an unmistakeable streak of aggression. It is here that the film runs the danger of falling in the good-woman, bad-woman dichotomy. However, amidst it all, in which direction is Kavya's family and Jiya's relationship headed as a conflicted man struggles to make a decision?
