Omar is from Gambia, but has fled his country for the fear of war. Separated from his family, he arrives in Barcelona where he lives in a small flat with other kids. An NGO supervises and manages the flat, and his mentor, the only person he has an emotional bond with, becomes a father figure to him. Rap music is the way Omar expresses his feelings. He is too young to bear the kind of life he has lived and thinks he perhaps doesn't deserve it at all. Sami, a music producer, believes Omar has got a talent for rap. He likes his song and wants him to pursue a professional recording deal. On his search for Omar, Sami finds out who he really is and the reason behind his disappearance.
