His Trembling Hands: An Immigrant Ghost Story (2021)

Upon emigrating to Australia, Mehmet (Serkan Tokgoz) struggles to let go of his Turkish memories and homeland, as his wife Aylin (Kim Ozalp) seeks to break free from tradition and assimilate into Australian life. Mehmet's despair and longing for his past life in Turkey signal the ghosts of his parents, who arrive to redeem him and set him free from an isolated, defeated existence. As Aylin progresses in Australia, Mehmet regresses and loses his connection to the natural world.
