Follow the Silence (2019)

Follow The Silence is a visual allegory, with a unique perspective, into the terror and anxiety one feels when trapped in cycles of abuse. We are introduced to a group of women that believe in the power of silence. Anna wants to take her place as leader of the commune, but must first prove to the current leader, Mother, that she is ready. Throughout the initiation, Anna begins to realize that members may not have as much of a choice as she thought. Ultimately, Anna must decide between accepting her place in a community that isn't what she thought it was, or breaking the cycle and losing everything.
