Penny Farthing: The First Hour (2021)

How far can you ride a penny farthing in one hour? The record has stood since 1886, and whilst many cyclists have attempted to break the 35.54km mark in the past 134 years, nobody has been able to. Endurance rider and round the world record holder Mark Beaumont joined forces with James and Chris to see if they can adapt to riding the quirky bikes, and attempt the record themselves. Follow the team as they prepared, over the course of three months, for this unique World Record and the final test in the world famous Herne Hill velodrome.
