Maria, Keshia, Michael, Crystal, KT, and Rico all have something in a common- a past and a future. As they try to make their dreams into a reality, they also face a nightmare. Maria is in love with an inmate. Keshia thinks she has it altogether, until she realizes that she doesn't. Michael is hiding a deadly secret. Crystal is one song away from her music career taking off but her boyfriend KT wants to be the next biggest drug lord. Rico has big plans to help them all, but his ties to the streets could sabotage everything.
