The Pact

Can best friends go from friends to lovers? Brandon and Jessie have grown up together and have been best friends for almost 30 years. In college they made a pact if they were single by their 30th Birthdays they would get married. On the eve of his 30th birthday Brandon's longtime girlfriend Amanda breaks up with him. Brandon needing to be consoled goes to Jessie's apartment. Brandon invites Jessie to Vegas in Amanda's stead. And that's where our story truly begins. Brandon and Jessie have a night on the town in Vegas. They wake up in bed together both naked. Jessie begins to freak out when she sees a wedding ring on her finger and Brandon has a matching set. They both decide to get an annulment. On the way to the chapel where they were married, Brandon begins to have second thoughts. Brandon remembers the Pact they made in college. Jessie has reservations, but Brandon convinces her to do a six month test marriage. They head back to their lives together trying to figure out how to stay married. Brandon and Jessie have to learn how to morph their friendship into a romantic partnership. They have to learn how to co-exist in a more intimate way. Will they be able to stay married and live happily ever after or will this marriage crash and burn?
