Malala (2021)

Reaching out to elements of Physical/Object and Dance Theater, MALALA is an experimental physical theater drama that plays with the intertwining concepts of waiting, hope, loneliness, anxiety, and indecision creating a bittersweet narrative about time and its lineal and unstoppable force. Life itself also plays with the concepts of loneliness and hope. Julia Cavagna chose her living room as THE space to intersperse stories of arrival and departure and explore the steps blindly taken to an unknown destination. In this chapter, we follow Malala on her journey towards decision. Is she awake when we find her? No-one knows.
