Daughters (2021)

Martha (Alexandra Maria Lara) and Betty (Birgit Minichmayr) have always shared all the problems they've had with their fathers. While Martha experiences the desire to die felt by her father Kurt (Josef Bierbichler), Betty misses her long-deceased stepfather Ernesto. What begins as an excursion to Switzerland becomes a road trip through half of Europe. Because Kurt is pursuing his own agenda - and Betty discovers during the journey to find traces of her father the astonishing truth that death is not always the end.
