Ben and Allison a young Caucasian married couple are thriving in their careers. There's only one thing that would make their life perfect. When their wish comes true and they are given the opportunity to officially adopt their fostered African American 9yr. old son, Kyle, they don't second guess it. They do everything they're supposed to, to welcome their new so into their family. They have no idea that their son's past will make such a difference in their new life. Unknown to Ben and Allison their son's biological father has been released early from prison and his only priority is to right the wrongs he has done to his son. As Ben and Allison plan a perfect getaway to celebrate their milestone, their son's father and his best friend are creating their own master plan to get back into Kyle's life.
