The short film opens with the scene of a young girl waking up to find an unpleasant surprise. A little bloodstain on the sheets reveals that she has had her first period. The same spot of red thus becomes the reason for her unease with the situation. However, the support of a father helps her understand that menstruation is a normal and natural biological process that is nothing to be ashamed of. The narrative then takes the viewer into the lives of different women all over the country in a parallel reality where a woman's monthly bleeding is not considered taboo, instead is viewed as an accepted reality of the world. The various scenes that are put one after the other, not only serve to accentuate the discrimination of our lived reality, but also raise awareness about female health and hygiene. While we may have not achieved the same in our day-to-day lives, shouldn't we consciously strive towards it, the film raises the question emphatically and thereby makes a sincere attempt to further the conversation on this very pertinent issue.
