Fish Sticks (2022)

Mitch Cunningham (Ben Buchanan), a formerly famous award-winning chef, tries to make a comeback by starting an internet cooking show with the help of his long-time friend and manager, Rachel Annalise Pope (Jana Henry). Pope introduces Cunningham to Drew Weatherford (Luis Mayoral-Cortes), a celebrity influencer famous for his unorthodox approach to cooking. The only problem is that Drew doesn't actually cook anything. His success relies more on his stoner-sensibilities and his ability to edit together quirky videos. For example, he reveals that one of his most famous recipes involves "baking" a cake in the dishwasher. Fed up with Drew's lack of respect for the culinary discipline, Mitch loses control and storms off set. Mitch quickly learns that there is more to Drew than meets the eye, but is that enough to convince Mitch that he must leave behind the glory of his past and accept a future that is different than the one he imagined?
