Josh Friedman is a film director on the verge of ending his career. He has had writer's block for nearly a decade and cannot complete his latest film Beethoven, starring the maestro - the late Assi Dayan. Hila, his wife, is a theatre actress. She desperately wants to have her first child and seeks to advance in her life and career. She gets the role of her life, the lead in a new star-studded TV series. When Josh experiences writer's block, his whole world collides. The football team Barça - Barcelona loses to its competitor Real Madrid in the Spanish Clasico final. A blue-and-white party that Josh and Hila love and volunteer for loses the election. Then the "Corona" global epidemic breaks out and threatens to kill them all. During the Israeli and global lock down, Hila's crazy sister Anna, along with her musician friend Shai, suddenly arrives at Josh and Hila's flat. They have come to live with them during the lock down because they were thrown out of their own apartment by their landlord and have nowhere to go. The fragile balance in Josh and Hila's lives is completely upended - everything is out of control. Anna takes advantage of all this new chaos and shoots a documentary about Josh and what unfolds in their home. This is part of her documentation of this period and the quarantine. Despite all the mess created, Josh gains new insights about life, and Hila finally gets what her heart desires most - a child.
