12 year-old Simon, loses everything due to a civil war in his West African country. He watches his family die, and his village set ablaze by rebels led by a leader called "Black Lion, of a merciless Rebel group. Forced to be a child soldier with other children, he tries to escape at all costs. A group of African Union soldiers assigned to stop these senseless killings, lead by Captain Isidore are on a mission to stop "Black Lion" in his atrocities.Simon, traumatized. and disturbed by nightmares, forced to kill, the boy plans an escape with his fellow child soldiers.
