The tiny church of St. Luke's stands tall in the town of Placentia, Newfoundland, a deeply Catholic community with little Anglican presence. The town holds a deep history with the French, the English, and the Basques to name a few, and holds its past with high regard. There are plenty of creative arts and museums to keep the history of Placentia alive, as it is a very small town, but a very deeply passionate one at that. St. Luke's sits down the street from the Catholic church, Sacred Heart, the tallest building in the area, so ever since it was constructed, it has been overshadowed by the much fancier and bigger Catholic church. Despite not having as strong of an Anglican presence in the community, St. Luke's remains a very busy spot with plenty of activities and tours happening constantly. The documentary dives into why it's important to keep the church open, how it's impacted Placentia, and what future plans there are for the building including an escape room that takes place inside the church.
